Furniture for Schools was the founding company that gave rise to Pacific Assist. Based on the success of Furniture for Schools and a recognition of a broader range of needs, Pacific Assist was created and Furniture for Schools became a project under the Pacific Assist banner. 

Latter-day Saint Charities is the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Their purpose is to relieve suffering, foster self-reliance and provide opportunities for service. Latter-day Saint Charities provides funding for selected Pacific Assist projects.

Donations to Pacific Assist are tax deductible and can be made by direct deposit or credit card via our online donations page. All donations go directly to project expenses and not to overhead costs.
